Assistance for Cancer Patients in Jacksonville, Florida

Cancer treatment can bring physical, emotional, and financial challenges. At Ackerman Cancer Center, our mission is to deliver the highest-quality, personalized cancer care while remaining committed to serving those in need throughout all walks of life. That’s why the Ackerman Cancer Foundation offers financial assistance to help eligible patients manage daily living expenses while focusing on healing and recovery during treatment.

Who Qualifies for Financial Assistance with Ackerman Cancer Foundation

Patients who are within six months of receiving cancer treatment

Patients who have received or are currently receiving care within Duval, St. Johns, Clay, Nassau, or Baker County, Florida

Patients whose total household income is at or below 250% of the 2026 Federal Poverty Guidelines

These guidelines help ensure our support reaches the patients and families who need it most.

Required Documentation for Your Application

To verify eligibility and process your application efficiently, proof of income is required for all household members aged 18 or older. Please include at least three of the following documents with your application:

An SSDI or SSI Benefit Verification Letter

Your last three months of bank statements

Your most recent tax return

Your last three pay stubs

A treatment letter signed by your physician if you are not currently receiving care at Ackerman Cancer Center

Submitting complete and accurate documentation helps us process your application quickly so you can receive support without delay.

Compassionate Support Every Step of the Way

We understand that financial stress can make an already difficult time even harder. Our social work team is here to guide you through the application process and answer any questions about financial aid for daily living costs during cancer treatment.
